The antiques market of the city of Pistoia taked place every second weekend all year around, except for July and August.
The exhibited goods are extremely varied and include furniture, books, valuables, fabrics, curtains and various objects.
The exhibitors come almost entirely from Tuscany and Liguria, although it is not uncommon to meet occasional sellers from the rest of Italy and even from abroad.
In the wake of the success of other antique markets that spread across the national and regional territory, in 1980, around fifty exhibitors, under the organization of the Municipality, met in Via Cavour and Via Bozzi, in the center of Pistoia, doing so the Città di Pistoia Antiques Market is born.
The headquarters of the Antiques Market is easily accessible both for the A11 motorway (Florence-Sea) and the ordinary roads tested by the Pistoia mountains, Montecatini Terme and Florence-Prato, just enter the motorway junction and exit at Pistoia Sud exit and next follow the specific directions for about 500 meters.
Little is the distance for those who want to reach Pistoia by train. From the station exit it is necessary to turn left and continue for about 200 meters.
